Project Brief
The JSW Centre for Climate Change and Health (JSW CCCH) is being established at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) Headquarters in Delhi NCR through financial support from the JSW Foundation. This centre aims to accelerate the Government of India’s commitment to addressing the impact of climate change on human health, as outlined in the National Plan for Climate Change & Human Health. The project will address gaps in trained human resources, evidence generation, and technical capacity within India’s climate change domain. The centre will function under the overall guidance of the JSW Professorial Chair in Climate Change and Health.
Deliverables
The technical expert will be expected to help build a portfolio in the domain of climate change and health, public health, health systems. This will also include work in core climate change and public health related academic and research capabilities that are essential for delivering high-quality outputs in alignment with the National Program for Climate Change and Human Health.
