Job description

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Program and Engineering Leaderto oversee key defense engineering initiatives focused on naval platform sustainment and capability development. This role provides strategic and technical leadership across integrated teams, ensuring engineering solutions support operational readiness, lifecycle performance, and modernization priorities.

This is an opportunity to shape critical infrastructure and drive innovation through systems engineering, governance planning, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll lead working groups across marine and combat systems, oversee technical studies, and ensure engineering activities align with broader sustainment objectives and lifecycle performance goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience in marine systems, defense sustainment, or complex technical program delivery
  • Strong background in systems engineering, reliability/maintainability analysis, and lifecycle planning
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional and multi-agency environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience supporting or working with DND or similar defense organizations
  • Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation preferred
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification an asset
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain Reliability Status security clearance
