You will be instrumental in engaging with stakeholders and ensuring project compliance with various regulatory bodies. The Opportunity :
WSP is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to join our Environmental Impact Assessment team in Ontario. You will play a key leadership role in advancing municipal and provincial transportation infrastructure projects through various environmental assessment (EA) and regulatory approval processes.
You will bring expertise in the following EA processes :

You will rely on your demonstrated experience navigating EA requirements, environmental permitting, and related authorization processes relevant to transportation projects in Ontario. You will be a key member of a supportive team and serve a variety of clients and projects. You will delegate tasks and provide mentorship and training to junior and intermediate personnel. You will also help develop the team's business. In this role, you will have flexibility to work in a hybrid environment (home + one of our local offices in Hamilton, St. Catherines, Mississauga, Cambridge, Kitchener, or Toronto).
