Job summary

pH7 Technologies is seeking a veteran Production Engineer to lead and optimize day-to-day operations at our South Burnaby, BC facility. You will drive safe, reliable metal recycling processes including leaching, solvent extraction, electrowinning, and process control, while mentoring teams and delivering improvements in recovery, cost, and environmental performance.

The role requires 15+ years in hydrometallurgy or related metals processing, a Bachelor’s in chemical/metallurgical/process

Qualifications

15+ years in hydrometallurgy, chemical processing, mining, or metal recycling operations.
Experience operating and optimizing industrial-scale hydrometallurgical processes.
Proven track record of delivering operational improvements and recovery enhancements.
Leadership of multidisciplinary teams and technical improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of process control systems and metallurgical accounting.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day production activities and ensure safe, reliable operation.
Develop dashboards to monitor recovery metrics, throughput, and equipment performance.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve plant efficiency.
Mentor engineers and operations staff; develop procedures and documentation.
Drive process improvements for metal recovery and cost reduction.
Coordinate capital projects and plant trials from concept to commissioning.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
