Job summary

pH7 Technologies seeks a Project Manager to advance early development initiatives for heap-based metal recovery. You will coordinate with leadership, engineers, external vendors, and regulatory agencies to align commercial and strategic objectives across development and execution phases.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, cost and schedule control, and reporting to leadership, with on-site work at our Vancouver office and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Civil disciplines.
• 10+ years of front-end project development and execution experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams (EPCM/EPC).

Responsibilities

• Interface management to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Lead early-stage opportunities and define minimum performance requirements.
• Provide project leadership, input, and decision-making across Commercial, Regulatory, Design, Procurement, Construction, and Start-up.
• Lead meetings to clarify scope, schedule, cost, and status.
• Own project scope, deliverables, costs, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality, and safety.
• Perform additional tasks as required by leadership.

Job Summary

As a Project Manager at pH7, you will dive into a variety of early development initiatives that drive both business growth and cutting‑edge emerging technologies, including heap‑based processing for the recovery of critical metal projects. This role involves collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including leadership, engineers, external vendors, and government and regulatory agencies, to ensure that the commercial and strategic objectives of a project are met, and that standards, processes, and procedures are applied effectively across the development and execution phases of a project.

What You’ll Do

• Interface management between internal and external project stakeholders to ensure on‑time and on‑budget project delivery.
• Act as opportunity lead in the early stages of project development and the definition of minimum performance requirements.
• Provide project leadership, support, technical input, and decision‑making as required, through:
  • Commercial development
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Regulatory
  • Design
  • Procurement
  • Construction
  • Commissioning and start‑up
  • Performance testing and close‑out
• Lead meetings with internal and external parties, at the office and on‑site as required, to clarify scope, schedule progress, cost tracking and forecasting, and execution planning and status.
• Own project scope and deliverables.
• Own cost tracking and schedule progressing.
• Own reporting for leadership audiences.
• Ensure stakeholder compliance with pH7 specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Complete other project tasks as required by leadership.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with mining project development and investment frameworks.
• Engineering degree (Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Civil disciplines preferred) or relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in front‑end project development and execution (10+ years).
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, internal and external, including EPCM/EPC.

How You’ll Stand Out

• Current registration in good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) as a professional engineer.

Working Hours & Environment

This is a full‑time, on‑site role at pH7 Technologies, reporting to the Director - Projects and working closely with the Head of Mining. Most of the work is performed in an office environment, with frequent site visits required to support project development and execution.
