Within the Business Network & Systems organization, the Over The Top (OTT) product team works across TELUS to drive growth in products essential for small and medium-sized businesses, such as physical security (TELUS Secure Business), unified communications (Business Connect), entertainment (Business TV), connectivity (Business Wi-Fi), internet, and voice. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven individual to join the OTT team as a Senior Product Manager for TELUS Secure Business. In this role, you will strategize, orchestrate, and execute initiatives to improve product profitability, value chain, and customer experience. You will collaborate with multiple teams across TELUS, including Project Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Field Technicians, and Systems teams. We value creativity, innovation, and a collaborative culture. We are looking for someone who challenges the status quo, leads indirectly, communicates effectively at all levels, influences outcomes, builds stakeholder relationships, acts with urgency, and embraces change and growth.

Impact and Responsibilities

This position reports to the Manager of the OTT TELUS Secure Business product team. The Senior Product Manager is strategic, big-picture oriented, yet capable of defining and executing effective plans. You will challenge the status quo, craft and implement a vision for success, and make a significant impact through:

  • Strategy: Designing and developing a product portfolio strategy focused on profitability and customer journey improvements.
  • Roadmap Development: Managing product roadmaps and collaborating for lifecycle management, including introduction, optimization, and retirement.
  • Implementation: Leading strategy and execution of initiatives, working with stakeholders to optimize processes and enhance customer experience.
  • Relationship Building: Building strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serving as the SME for our security products.
  • Customer Experience: Driving engagement and improving experiences for current and new customers.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Revenue, COGS, Margin, Churn, Customer Likelihood to Recommend (L2R).
Approach and Skills

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Implement structured measurement of product performance using scorecards and monthly reviews.
  • Develop financial models to monitor product profitability across the lifecycle.
  • Strategize with product managers to identify plans that improve business outcomes aligned with ease of buying, selling, delivering, and supporting.
  • Lead product governance, including stakeholder forums.
  • Communicate and influence effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Conduct strategic analysis and problem-solving for the product.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to all levels, including executives.
  • Represent the team in cross-functional strategic programs.
  • Support projects and operational process development to grow the product portfolio.

Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000
Performance Bonus: 15%
Total compensation depends on experience and skills. Benefits include:
