Job description

Position Purpose: Oversee the development and management of company products. Drive ongoing definition, integration, and enhancement of selected company products and assess the performance of existing products to ensure market expectations are met.
  • Capture market needs and define requirements for capabilities, features, and performance
  • Interface with clients on product design and promote product benefits, capabilities, and value propositions through relationship with key customers
  • Gather and analyze feedback from various departments and recommend potential changes
  • Define product road map and planning, including concept, use cases, features functions, growth strategies, and profitability targets
  • Participate in Agile scrum teams during all phases of feature development
  • Participate in the design and development of the product strategy, roadmap and priorities
  • Develop requirements documents and use cases for new product features
  • Monitor the status of specific development projects supporting new features
  • Prioritize, rationalize and ensure delivery of specific sub systems against product development timelines
  • Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of product management or project management experience in a healthcare enterprise solutions environment. Experience developing and delivering care management solutions and agile development methodology preferred.

Pay Range: $105,600.00 - $195,400.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
