Overview

Senior Product Manager role at Ferring Pharmaceuticals. This hybrid position requires three days per week in the office, with travel as needed (approximately 15–20%).

We are looking for a strategic, driven, and collaborative Senior Product Manager to lead the continued commercial success of a newly launched pharmaceutical product in Canada. The role focuses on post-launch optimization, market growth, HCP engagement, and executional excellence to sustain momentum in the Canadian healthcare landscape.

This is a unique opportunity for a marketing leader to shape the trajectory of an innovative therapy, building on early momentum to ensure sustained impact.

Responsibilities
  • Accelerate brand growth by refining post-launch strategy through real-time market insights, performance analytics, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Maximize market impact by delivering high-performing promotional, field, and omnichannel initiatives, and ensuring flawless execution of congress, KOL, and educational programs.
  • Strengthen organizational alignment by uniting cross-functional teams and agency partners around a coordinated, compliant strategy, supported by clear performance reporting.
  • Shape long-term market leadership by driving strategic planning, forecasting, and preparation for lifecycle milestones such as label expansions and digital innovation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive pharmaceutical marketing experience, including 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record managing in-market brands.
  • Deep knowledge of the Canadian pharmaceutical landscape, including commercialization, market access pathways, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in matrixed, cross-functional environments, with strong influence and alignment skills.
  • Strong business acumen, including expertise in performance tracking, forecasting, and budget management.
  • Proficiency with marketing platforms and systems, including CRM tools (e.g., OCE), performance dashboards, and financial tools (e.g., Navision).
  • Experience in digital engagement strategies, including mapping the patient and HCP digital journey.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
  • Experience in specialty therapeutic areas such as rare diseases, oncology, or biologics.
  • Exposure to product launches, in either a lead or supporting capacity.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel marketing and advanced digital tools.
