About This Role: We are seeking a results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead our Data Science pursuits within the delivery pricing domain. This role requires a strong analytical background, a deep understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling, and the ability to drive data-driven product decisions that directly impact our courier experience. You will work closely with our Data Scientists to develop and optimize the models that power our network pricing programs.

Location: Winnipeg or Toronto or Calgary. This role involves a hybrid work model with collaboration during key project phases, participation in regular sprint ceremonies, and close collaboration with backend engineering teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead product discovery and development for data-science-focused initiatives, including new and predictive models for improving the efficiency of our logistics network
  • Establish clear success metrics for data science models and track leading and lagging indicators to measure effectiveness
  • Partner with Data Science and Behavioral Analytics teams to design and execute A/B and multivariate tests
  • Generate data-driven insights to inform product strategy and feature development in delivery pricing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
  • Translate hypotheses into technical requirements for pricing models and create detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
  • Take full ownership of experiment and pricing timelines, providing proactive communication and meeting deadlines consistently
Qualifications
  • Experience in product management with focus on data science, growth, experimentation, and optimization
  • Experience with pricing programs, loyalty systems, or reward mechanisms
  • Understanding of backend systems, APIs, and data architecture principles
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar)
  • Experience with experimentation platforms and growth frameworks
  • Proven track record of driving measurable business impact through product initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to executives
  • Experience working in agile development environments with cross-functional teams
  • Nice to have
  • Background in data science, analytics, or quantitative fields
  • Technical expertise or experience collaborating with backend engineering teams
  • Proficient in product frameworks like RICE prioritization and experienced in managing complex product experiments
  • Knowledgeable in behavioral psychology and user experience, with experience in consumer-facing digital products or marketplace environments
