Senior Product Manager – Verification (Digital Credentials)

Ready to lead one of the most important product transformations in digital identity?We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of Interac’s reusable digital credentials product – a cornerstone of the Interac Verified platform.

This is a fintech-titled role withsenior director / AVP-level scope and visibility. You’ll be accountable for everything from strategic inception to market launch and adoption, working at the intersection of trust, technology, and transformation. You will build and lead the roadmap, align cross-functional teams, assess enabling technologies, anticipate and influence evolving standards, and deliver a market-leading solution – urgently and at scale.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning the end-to-end lifecycleof Interac’s reusable credentials product – from ideation and design through to commercialization, scale, and continuous improvement.
  • Setting and evolving the strategic vision and roadmap, ensuring the product meets market, regulatory, and partner demands while staying ahead of emerging standards and technologies.
  • Leading cross-functional execution with urgency, including technology, design, legal, compliance, policy, operations, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
  • Owning vendor and technology selection, balancing security, scalability, user experience, and time-to-market to ensure the best build/buy/partner decisions.
  • Developing and refining business models, go-to-market plans, and commercialization strategies to maximize market adoption and long-term viability.
  • Anticipating market needs and emerging trendsin the global identity and credentials space, informing product decisions and positioning Interac as a market leader.
  • Coaching and mentoring a high-performing product team, creating clarity, accountability, and strong execution discipline.
  • Reporting on product performance, milestones, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and the executive team.

You bring:

  • 10+ years of product leadership experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling complex, high-impact products – ideally in digital identity, fintech, platforms, or regulated markets.
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with experience turning market needs into clear product strategies, scalable technology solutions, and successful go-to-market execution.
  • Deep technical fluency– you understand architecture, APIs, platform trade-offs, privacy protocols, and how to work effectively with engineering leadership.
  • Experience with digital identity frameworks(e.g., verifiable credentials, decentralized identifiers, trust ecosystems, identity wallets, or KYC systems).
  • Executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with a history of influencing senior leaders, partners, and regulators.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams in agile environments, with a bias for action, clarity, and delivery under tight timelines.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives and decisions.
