Pay Rate: $58 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a top banking client in Canada is looking to hireSenior Product Manager for their team with a contract for12 Monthswith potential extension or conversion to Permanent. Hybrid - 1 day in office (Mandatory on the 3rd Wednesday of each month) in Downtown Toronto.

As the Senior Product Manager, Salesforce/nCino (a SAAS platform), you will contribute to the overall success of the Digital Transformation of the Business Banking/Retail & Small Business. roadmap and drive a dedicated backlog with partners in, Business Banking, Retail & Small Business, Operations, and Engineering. You will oversee the rollout of an industry leading digital experience, and be responsible for engaging stakeholders, incorporating feedback from participants, prioritizing key features and experiences, and more. You will be responsible to partner with the Salesforce/nCino Vendor, other product managers, functional SME's, bank stakeholders, software engineers, and designers, to translate the user journeys into actionable, prioritized backlog deliverables and follow through to delivery. Critical to success in this role is the ability to build strong relationships with partners (both internal and external) and lead large-scale, multi-faceted programs. This role ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Daily responsibilities:
  • Leader in agile product management to prioritize effectively and manage inter-dependencies across key scrum teams
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Prioritizes and manage a dedicated backlog with partners across Commercial, Retail & Small Business, Engineering and Operations Partners closely with the Salesforce/nCino Vendor and Engineering to ensure a user experience across client segments that is logical, engaging, and accessible
  • Partners closely with business stakeholder teams to ensure an effective operating and delivery model
  • Uses data to drive decisions, building hypotheses, testing and iterating, including planning for the right incorporation of data and analytics strategies into roadmap
  • Maintains a prioritized backlog, supports the creation of detailed user stories, and participates in sprint planning and review activities. Engages day to day with the scrum teams, clarifying questions and helping with decision making.
  • Plans for and considers reusability of Canada components in other markets across the Bank's International footprint.
  • This will be a Technical Product leadership role
  • Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with bank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
  • Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
Must have:
  • 8-10 years experience as a Senior Product Manager/Owner, building customer facing digital products and salesforce experience with sales and service cloud or FSC cloud.
  • 8-10 years of experience managing a technology product or a digital journey end to end, from inception to delivery
  • 8-10 years of experience working in multiple functional areas such as Agile/Scrum environment
Nice to have:
  • Strong understanding of the Retail/Small Business or Commercial Banking business lines including policies and processes, servicing models and products
Soft skill:
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
  • Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high-scale project
  • Integrity, high attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy are critical to ensure quality outputs.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills to manage competing activities within short time frames.
  • The incumbent requires self-initiative, resourcefulness and strong organizational ability to manage a diverse range of projects.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

  • Great verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organizations

Education and Certifications:
  • Engineering, Computer Science or Business degrees considered an asset
