Position Summary :
We're seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager to drive the expansion and execution of our Growth & Marketplace strategy. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in driving platform growth by fostering strategic partnerships, supporting provincial engagements, and scaling our third-party app ecosystem. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, development, architecture, marketing, and sales to define high-impact solutions that extend the value of our EMR platform.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Market Research & Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and unmet needs within the healthcare technology space. Analyze potential new verticals, app categories, and partnership opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Partnership Development & Management : Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with healthcare app developers, technology providers, healthcare organizations, and other relevant entities. Foster strong relationships with partners to ensure long-term success and mutual growth.
- Provincial Engagement : Act as product liaison for provincial EMR initiatives and regulatory mandates.
- Growth Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement data-driven growth strategies to expand the marketplace's reach, user adoption, revenue, and app developer engagement. This includes initiatives such as new app acquisition, co-marketing campaigns, and platform feature enhancements driven by partner needs.
- Pipeline Management : Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners, tracking progress from initial outreach to successful integration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work effectively across product teams, sales, marketing, implementations, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless integration of new partnerships and features, and to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Define key performance indicators KPIs) for business development initiatives, track progress, analyze results, and provide regular reports to leadership on market insights, partnership status, and growth achievements.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Software Engineering, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field .5+ years of direct experience in business development, partnerships, product management, or strategic sales, preferably within the healthcare technology, SaaS, or marketplace industries.Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing complex strategic partnerships.Proven success of launching, scaling, or operating a marketplace or partner-driven platforms.An understanding of the digital health landscape, including current trends, key players, and regulatory considerations.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and execute against them.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Bonus Points :
An understanding of related healthcare data concepts (e.g., HL7, FHIR, etc.) is beneficial.An understanding of software integrations, APIs, Authentication, SQLand the broader technology ecosystem.Experience working with navigating provincial healthcare systems and the public sector.Experience with SaaS platforms, marketplace app store dynamics, or digital health platforms / products is a plus.Healthcare experience and knowledge is a plus.Established professional network within the Canadian healthcare technology ecosystem.Understanding of provincial healthcare systems, EMR adoption trends, regulatory changes (e.g., PHIPA, provincial data sovereignty laws), and funding models across Canada.Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), business intelligence tools, excel, and market research tools.Experience with growth hacking techniques or product-led growth strategies.Product Marketing (PMK) skills or direct experience collaborating with PMK teams related to a marketplace are a plus.Familiarity with agiledevelopment methodologies is a plus.Compensation and Logistics :
