Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Product Development Engineer in Bolton, Ontario to drive system level design and create injection molding tooling concepts for our leading plastics equipment.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, 10+ years design experience, and strong CAD skills. You will lead teams, collaborate across disciplines, and help advance our innovation and sustainability objectives while delivering robust, compliant tooling solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of design experience in injection molding tooling.
• Expert in CAD modeling, preferably Unigraphics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience selecting materials for tooling and components.

Responsibilities

• System level design with limited guidance in tooling.
• Product Architect.
• Develop injection molding tooling products within a formal process.
• Lead design reviews and document validation plans.
• Mentor team members and collaborate across disciplines.
• Drive the product development process with cross-functional input.
• Ensure design compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Represent Husky in front of customers and partners.
