Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will lead RDQ activities required for new product development and portfolio maintenance, aiming to deliver an exceptional consumer experience.
How You Will Contribute
- Plan, lead, and coordinate technical projects aligned with RDQ, marketing, and manufacturing requirements.
- Communicate project status and risks effectively.
- Coordinate pilot plant and factory trials following good manufacturing practices and HACCP standards.
- Manage development activities such as product shelf-life testing and consumer test preparations.
- Utilize digital simulation models to interpret consumer insights and commercial data.
- Create and maintain consumer-led specifications and influence stakeholder decisions based on data analysis.

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and proactively solve technical/business problems.

Position Details
- Independently plan and lead large to medium-sized projects from consumer insights to commercialization.

- Deliver technical expertise in chocolate product and process development.
- Work for Chocolate North America, based in Canada.
Job Specific Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Strong technical foundation and curiosity.
- Experience with plant trials, scientific testing, data analysis, and project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resolve technical issues in cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in process specifications and quality consistency.
- Excellent communication skills.
Education / Certifications
- BSc in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Additional Skills

- Knowledge of ingredients, packaging, and processing impacts on product quality.

Travel Requirements
- Up to 25% travel within Canada, Europe, US, and Mexico.
