Job summary

Brookfield Properties in Calgary seeks a Sr. Designer, Product Development to lead new model concepts and enhancements using Revit and AutoCAD. You will own space planning and structural design decisions, driving innovative solutions for Brookfield Residential’s Calgary projects.

Key responsibilities include concept development, detailed drawings, architectural coordination, and collaboration with trades, engineering and sales teams to ensure quality and marketability of homes.

Qualifications

Post-Secondary Diploma in Architectural Technologies or related field.
5+ years of product development experience in residential homebuilding is preferred.
Strong knowledge of residential building codes and Calgary by-laws would be an asset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proactive and motivated.

Responsibilities

Lead concept development and manage new models from concept to sales release.
Create drawings using AutoCAD or Revit, aligned with Design Guidelines and bylaws.
Develop space planning for livability, buildability, and market appeal.
Coordinate with Architectural Controls, trades, and internal teams for constructible solutions.
Review site issues and drive design changes with Engineering and Construction teams.
Produce master working drawings for elevations and plans using Revit.
