Job description

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by

We are seeking a talented digital Senior Product Designer to join our Financial Services team. Your primary focus will involve collaborating to create exceptional user experiences through user research, design, and prototyping.

The Financial Services team helps shape seamless, world-class experiences across Payments and Capital products. Success in this role means designing experiences that are: Integrated – Payments feel native across every surface and workflow; Invisible – Friction is eliminated; we get out of the user’s way; Instant – Funds are fast, accessible, and clearly accounted for. The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Designer comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with complex, interconnected problems at scale. You excel at identifying opportunities to deliver value and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to create exceptional customer experiences.

What you’ll do :

  1. Lead project work from a design perspective with autonomy and authority, facilitating design reviews and working sessions to help the teams deliver the best possible solutions
  2. Leverage your UX expertise and deep understanding of design systems, UI design, and how micro-interactions can help users complete a task
  3. Turn nebulous concepts into specific ideas that are useful and delightful product features
  4. Design holistic systems, flows, and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly
  5. Understand how to use the current design system effectively to ensure consistency across platforms and contribute to its continuous improvement
  6. Draw insights from research and data, and turn those insights into tangible solutions
  7. Build relationships and advocate for the user when collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and marketing
  8. Be a positive role model and culture carrier within the studio as well as an advocate for design within the organization

What you need to bring :

  • At least 5 years of practical, in-house product, UX/UI design experience
  • Excellent communication skills to bring internal stakeholders along your design journey and explain work clearly and concisely
  • Strong aesthetic skills to help elevate the visual identity of our brands
  • Applied experience with service design practices and a curiosity to evolve your design process
  • Experience working across all digital and physical manifestations of design—from responsive web to native applications to emerging technologies
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to aid in the product design process for better, user-centered products
  • Proficiency with design systems, prototyping, and user research methodologies
  • Deep empathy and self-awareness for both customers and team goals
  • A curiosity about product strategy and vision, understanding why we design what we do
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Google Suite, JIRA, and other prototyping tools

We know that people are more than just their CVs. If you're unsure whether you fit the role, go ahead and apply!

What’s in it for you?

  • A flexible work environment that empowers your best work
  • A culture that celebrates performance
  • The opportunity to grow within a team big enough for impact but small enough for your voice to be heard
  • Career-defining opportunities

Plus benefits designed to keep you happy, healthy, and fulfilled:

  • Flexible paid time off and remote work policies
  • Equity options, because this is your company too
  • Contributions to your pension plan
  • Training opportunities to grow your skills and career
  • Health and wellness credits
  • Time off for volunteering and community engagement
  • Interest groups, employee networks, social committees, and sports teams
  • Enhanced parental leave to support growing families
