About the role

As a Senior Product Designer at Askable you’ll get to enjoy variety in your work—collaborating with senior engineers and product people in a fast-paced environment where we thrive on delivering quality products and experiences.

Designing at Askable is unlike other product design roles. Most of our users are other designers and product researchers, and we use our own platform to regularly understand the research landscape, run tests, collect feedback, and gain deep insights from them—which enables us to improve the platform. These improvements not only enhance our capabilities but also empower our customers to gain even better insights from their customer base, creating a cycle of continuous improvement and deeper understanding.

We help them, they help us. Everyone wins. Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design will be key in crafting solutions that meet our users’ needs, unlocking value for them and their customers.

What you’ll do

• Design user-centred interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product and engineers to translate product goals into innovative design solutions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements.
• Ensure design consistency and coherence across the entire product.
• Understand our user types and ensure their needs are always at the core of our decisions.
• Actually see your designs get built and collaborate with your squad to see features through to delivery, including testing for delivering high quality experiences.

Skills and experience you’ll bring

To hit the ground running in this role you’ll need at least 4 to 5 years experience working as a product designer in a SaaS or tech environment with:

• A portfolio of work, including case studies unpacking the thinking and approach behind your work.
• Experience in planning and conducting user research and usability testing.
• A deep understanding of user-centred design principles, interaction design, and responsive design.
