Job summary
S.I. Systems Ltd. is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end product design for a complex B2B financial services platform, using Figma and FigJam.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and engineering to simplify workflows and deliver user-centered solutions. Based in Toronto with EST hours and on-site presence three days a week, this permanent role offers a clear path towards Principal Product Designer.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Designer or similar role.
- Strong experience with Figma and FigJam for end-to-end design work.
- Experience conducting user research and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of a product area within a complex B2B financial services platform from discovery through development support.
- Lead product discovery sessions with business stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
- Define requirements as jobs to be done with measurable success criteria.
- Map business processes, user tasks, and system flows to simplify complex workflows.
- Create task flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and user stories for development-ready handover.
- Plan and conduct moderated user research to validate design decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical constraints and data implications.
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI-assisted workflows while incorporating human review.
- Partner with the design system team to maintain UI/UX consistency.

This role owns the design of a product area from discovery and requirements gathering through process mapping, prototyping, user research, and development-ready handover. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and engineering teams to simplify complex workflows and deliver intuitive, user-centered solutions. The position offers a clear career path to Principal Product Designer.
Permanent, Toronto, Working Hours: EST, 3 times a week on site
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Designer, Senior UX/UI Designer, or similar
- Strong proficiency with Figma and FigJam
- Experience with end-to-end product design, from discovery through development handover
- Strong systems thinking, including process mapping, task flows, and complex workflows
- Experience conducting user research and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and ability to independently lead design workshops
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, or similar, or equivalent education and experience
- Experience designing multi-system B2B enterprise platforms in regulated industries
- Financial services experience, particularly fund administration, investor services, or alternative investments
- Knowledge of investor onboarding, KYC/AML, or order processing
- Experience designing automation or AI-assisted workflows
