About You
- 7+ years of experience in Digital UX, Interaction, or Product Design roles, building and shipping products, preferably from ground up.
- Varied academic backgrounds are welcome, including UX, Design, Information System Design, Psychology, Architecture.
- Extensive experience with complex, transaction-heavy, multi-platform ecosystems, balancing business strategy, data, and user needs.
- At-scale thinker, starting with the big picture and designing end-to-end experiences, including workflows, information architecture, user journeys, from concept sketches to high fidelity designs.
- Mobile-first mindset with the ability to differentiate between desktop and mobile paradigms, behavioral nuances, constraints, and capabilities.
- Understanding of client-side and backend frameworks, application interface architecture, and negotiating feasible front-end UI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with design research methods and collaboration with research teams.
- Independent problem solver, creative, open-minded, able to pivot, explore, and experiment.
- Proficient in design and project management tools, including Figma, Invision, Zeplin, Jira, Confluence.
About The Work
- Acts as a design subject-matter expert on multiple Product Pods.
- Delivers product value by facilitating Design Thinking, providing expertise and guidance.
- Creates behavior maps, sketches, prototypes, and human-system interactions.
- Communicates ideas, options, and experiences clearly to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Promotes a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and positive change for EQB customers.
- Collaborates with POD and framework designers, researchers, business strategists, engineers, and others to develop solutions.
- Supports the development of Design Systems and accessibility standards.
- Drives business value through design activities on project teams, creating innovative customer experiences.
- Leads end-to-end product design, from discovery to delivery, advocating for progressive UX and representing the voice of the customer.
- Defines and iterates on Journeys, Service Design, Vision Boards, User Flows, Wireframes, Prototypes, and high-fidelity screens.
- Delivers wireframes and high-fidelity screens for responsive web and mobile applications (Android and iOS).
- Crafts UX for Desktop and Mobile paradigms, identifying opportunities for each.
- Uncovers Moments of Truth that create customer value and explores opportunities across products.
- Facilitates discovery sessions, workshops, reviews, and stakeholder check-ins.
- Supports research cycles, crafting scripts, artifacts, analyzing data, and making recommendations.
- Collaborates with Product Managers, Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to develop deep product understanding and innovative solutions.
- Advocates for design needs and product quality during Scrum ceremonies, demos, and meetings.
- Leverages and contributes to the EQ Bank Design System.
