Location: Montreal, QC with flexible hybrid schedule (2 days in-office, 3 days remote)

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced UI/UX Researcher & Designer to lead and elevate user experiences across our platforms. You'll drive research initiatives, translate insights into compelling designs, and champion user-centered approaches within our product ecosystem. You'll also play a key role in concepting and designing next-generation AI-driven user experiences for fans, artists, venues, and event promoters.

Responsibilities:

Research & Strategy

  • Lead user research efforts, including surveys, interviews, usability studies, and A/B tests
  • Conduct competitive analysis and maintain user personas/journey maps
  • Leverage AI tools to analyze research data and identify user behavior patterns
  • Translate research insights into product requirements with product managers
  • Present research findings to leadership and stakeholders

Design & Execution

  • Optimize existing user flows to enhance usability, conversion rates, and user satisfaction
  • Design end-to-end user experiences from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes across multiple product lines
  • Design user experiences for future AI products across text, voice, and smart interfaces
  • Establish & maintain comprehensive, scalable design systems & component libraries
  • Work with engineers to maintain design quality and optimize throughout development

Leadership & Innovation

  • Advocate for user needs in strategic business decisions and product planning
  • Champion user-centered design principles across teams and initiatives
  • Identify and apply emerging UX/UI and AI trends to drive design innovation

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years in UX/UI design with proven research and design execution skills
  • Expert knowledge of UX methodologies, best practices, and the current landscape
  • Experience conducting comprehensive UX research
  • Expertise in Figma and modern design systems
  • Track record designing responsive, multi-platform interfaces
  • Experience or strong interest in AI product design, conversational interfaces, and emerging interaction patterns
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex user challenges
  • Ability to create production-ready assets and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent team collaboration and feedback integration skills
  • Passion for music and live events

Preferred:

  • Conversational AI and chatbot design experience
  • Web development knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Proficiency with advanced web platforms (EditorX, Webflow)
  • Animation and motion graphics skills (Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Brand/visual design background
