The Opportunity

The Product Delivery Manager at Haptiq leads different projects and is responsible for planning, overseeing, leading, and delivering software development projects in an international environment that helps the business achieve its goals. The role owner interacts with internal and external stakeholders and is accountable for completing projects in scope, budget, and time.

This position deals predominantly with software application projects (e.g., implementing new or enhancing existing software solutions in various domains, such as finance, marketing, Ed-tech, e-commerce, etc).

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage software product development projects and take accountability for delivery in scope, on budget, and on schedule.
  • Setting the vision with the customer for their product(s), understanding how it connects to the organization’s goals.
  • Building products with world-class customer experiences in mind, understanding the entire lifecycle of a customer.
  • Defining, prioritizing, and communicating short, mid, and long-term goals of the product.
  • Ensuring high engagement in the UX domain to deliver a great customer experience.
  • Support analysis and formalization of business requirements and define project objectives and scope.
  • Establish project plans and roadmaps using tools like Smartsheet and Monday.com.
  • Be an evangelist for the team, communicating with stakeholders and helping the team bridge any gaps in understanding between the team and the rest of the company.
  • Set and track milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify project risks and issues and propose mitigation actions.
  • Manage unforeseen situations / delays, realign schedule and expectations as needed.
  • Adherence to security policies and standards set by the Global IT PMO.
  • Proficient with Agile project methodology and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).
  • Establish and implement project communication plans and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Assess business impacts of IT projects, organize change management, and manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize meetings, coordinate tasks, and assign responsibilities to project members.
  • Use project management tools to track project performance and progress.

Requirements

  • Overall 8+ years of program management experience
  • English fluency is a MUST.
  • Thorough understanding of Project Management processes, principles, strategies, and methods.
  • Experience with lean and agile product delivery approaches.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven success working with all levels of management, including C-Suite.
  • Experience managing large budgeting and forecasting projects.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications and software used in the organization and the industry.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Project Management tools.
  • Experience in working in a complex international environment.
  • Ability to motivate people to complete a project in a timely manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related fields.
