SS&C Technologies Inc., a world-leading provider of comprehensive investment management solutions and services, is looking for an individual to join the firm’s Intelligent Automation and Analytics division as a Fund of Funds Analyst.

As a member of the Analytics team, approximately 65% of your time will be spent leading implementations of SS&C’s advanced fund of funds investment platform, along with product management, project coordination, and sales support efforts. The remaining 35% will involve working closely with senior management on special projects related to SS&C’s performance and analytics services, and providing ongoing operational and analytical support to alternative investment clients.

What You Will Get To Do :

  • Lead implementations of new clients in fund of funds analysis, investment performance, and risk measurement
  • Provide ongoing operational and analytical support to clients and internal teams
  • Interact regularly with current and prospective clients, product management teams, fund accounting teams, and senior management to ensure effective business operations
  • Involved in product management, design, and testing of new functionalities, client relationship management, and various special projects
  • Research and design new product features, methodologies, and functionalities to increase the platform’s versatility and value
  • Support the ongoing production process and ensure timely, high-quality client deliverables
  • Develop into a subject matter expert in Fund of Funds investments, performance measurement, analytics, and risk measurement
  • Stay informed about industry initiatives and market trends impacting the business
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external partners

What You Will Bring :

  • Undergraduate Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Graduate degree in business, finance, or economics is an asset
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the financial industry with alternative investments
  • Experience with solutions like SS&C Geneva, Burgiss, Addepar, Solovis, or Caisa is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of performance measurement, risk analysis, and attribution analysis is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of alternative asset classes such as private equity and hedge funds
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence others
  • Ability to multitask effectively and stay organized in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain investment performance results clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
