Reporting to the Category Manager, Procurement and Supply Management (P&SM) of the engineering category cluster, the Senior Procurement Specialist will support the development, analysis and execution of innovative procurement strategies that deliver sustainable enterprise value including achievement of cost reduction targets. The Senior Procurement Specialist will also monitor the delivery of key contracts, capture of financial savings through negotiation of contract terms, conditions and monitoring of supplier performance.
In addition, the Senior Procurement Specialist, Procurement and Supply Management will work with the Category Manager to analyze and present data during the baseline, strategize and deliver phases of the category management process, and develop sourcing project plan, prepare procurement process documentation and manage the event through to evaluation and final recommendation.
Procurement Management
This position is located in Montreal, Quebec Headquarters and the reporting structure is to P&SM in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular work week from Monday to Friday. The role requires occasional travel within North America and abroad.
Experience
Procurement
· Between 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Education/Certification/Designation
· Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or equivalent.
