Job description

Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Procurement Specialist to create RFIs / RFPs for software acquisitions The contractor will be responsible but not limited to : Meet with stakeholders to gather information on potential complex procurements requirements . Identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, risk reduction, ect. Write, review, and finalize Statements of Work . Write, review, and finalize selection methodologies and evaluation criteria (mandatory and point rated). Conduct technical evaluations, as needed. Plan and coordinate procurement activities for stakeholders including financial estimates, business requirements and contracting options (project procurement management, cost and estimate Management, sole source versus RFP process ). Identify potential problems and propose solutions with contract management. Ensure stakeholders are provided with timely and accurate project information and status updates. Develop and implement monitoring of systems for contract delivery and continuing service delivery. Ensure a consistent, coherent, and well-coordinated strategy on procurement initiatives and related activities. Must-haves : 3 years of procurement experience with the Government of Canada 2 years of software acquisition experience Reliability clearance Nice-to-have : Bilingual Apply
