Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-pressure gas equipment design focus on CNG, RNG and H2 gas distribution equipment, and collaborating with our operations and service teams. This role is ideal for individuals with 15-20 years of experience who have a significant expertise in the high-pressure gas market, a great attitude, and a focused approach to innovation
Key Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with the Chief Engineer and our customers, develop new and innovative gas equipment solutions that meet our customers needs.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry codes & standards and company guidelines and private expert-level interpretation of existing standards globally.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment and internal processes.
- Work closely with operations and service teams to understand process requirements and challenges.
- Provide engineering support and troubleshooting assistance for operational issues.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and programs for operations staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 15-20 years of experience in the high pressure gas industry, preferably in CNG.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- P.Eng. in one or more Canadian jurisdiction.
Skills
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with AHJ’s in both the US and Canada.
- Expert-level knowledge of pressure piping codes and standards.
- Expert-level proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Visio).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Global working experience is strongly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
