Job summary

Flexstaf IT is seeking an experienced privacy professional to lead or support Privacy Impact Assessments, ensuring new technologies and programs meet legal and policy privacy requirements.

The role focuses on evaluating risks and addressing client concerns across federal, provincial, municipal, and private sector privacy requirements, with strong expertise in Ontario law and privacy practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of privacy and security concepts and trends.
• Ability to interpret and communicate privacy compliance requirements.
• Experience researching privacy laws and risk countermeasures.
• Familiarity with Ontario privacy regulations and PIA processes.
• Understanding of IT security, policy development and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support the development of Privacy Impact Assessments for new tech or programs.
• Ensure compliance with provincial, municipal, federal, and private sector privacy laws.
• Develop risk mitigations and address client privacy concerns.
• Create data flow diagrams and support cross-functional teams with privacy requirements.
