Job summary

TESC is seeking an experienced Project Planner & Scheduler for a long-term contract at a remote construction site in Saskatchewan. The role requires strong planning, scheduling, and field-knowledge to support schedule performance on an industrial project.

The position is 18–24 months, camp-based with a 16 on/12 off rotation, including two travel days. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel is essential to translate project requirements into actionable schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project planning and scheduling experience.
• University degree or college diploma in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong construction knowledge with practical field execution understanding.
• Ability to develop, maintain, analyze, and communicate detailed schedules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, update, and analyze detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
• Develop baseline and look-ahead schedules reflecting scope, sequencing, milestones, resources, and procurement.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams on sequencing.
• Monitor progress, identify schedule variances, constraints, delays, and risks.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and craft mitigation and recovery plans.
• Incorporate procurement, submittals, work sequencing, testing, start-up, and closeout activities.
• Collect and validate schedule information from internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare schedule updates, forecasts, progress reports, and look-ahead plans.
