Senior Practice Manager

Reporting To: Director, Operations

Home Clinic Location: Vancouver South Animal Hospital

Team Members: All DVM & non-DVM team members at the home clinic, and all Practice Managers and DVMs at clinics within the assigned region to be determined.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000

About the Opportunity

Based out of your designated home clinic in Vancouver, you will provide direct leadership and oversee the daily operations of a small group of clinics, with the potential to expand your oversight as you grow within the company. You will work closely with our Practice Managers and dedicated veterinary teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care, seamless clinic operations, and a positive experience for every client and patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Development: Support, mentor, and coach Practice Managers and clinic teams, fostering a unified VetCare, values-first, environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations and performance across your clinics, ensuring top-quality care and maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborative Management: Partner with Practice Managers on scheduling, staffing, financial management, and inventory control.
  • Culture Building: Cultivate a positive, inclusive team culture where every voice is heard, and every patient's well-being is prioritized.
  • Growth & Performance: Champion clinic growth and performance, ensuring alignment with VetCare's high standards.
  • Client Relations: Build strong client relationships and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance to all company policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in veterinary practice management, with a preference for multi-site leadership.
  • HR & Team Building: Strong human resources and team-building skills, including comfort with providing feedback and nurturing professional growth.
  • Operational Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of clinic operations, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a collaborative approach, active listening, and calm resolution of challenges.
  • Adaptability: Highly adaptable, organized, and solution-focused, capable of managing increasing responsibilities effectively.
