Compensation Range

$58,200 - $80,000, varies based on experience, education, skills, and location.

Job Purpose

The Senior Power Electronics Technologist supports engineering by developing testing, calibration, and manufacturing procedures. Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and verifying design through reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Handle technical assignments, analyze, and recommend solutions.
  2. Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams for new product launches.
  3. Support production to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective delivery.
  4. Test power electronic products.
  5. Select components/materials considering cost and performance.
  6. Identify and report design issues.
  7. Document observations and testing results accurately.
  8. Troubleshoot testing problems independently.
  9. Adhere to project timelines.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Diploma/Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent, with 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Skills
  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic circuits and schematics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power meters, data loggers, and related software.
  • Accurate recording and reporting skills.
  • Independent troubleshooting ability.
  • Hands-on experience with product testing and development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Analytical and logical thinking.
  • Effective team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in telecommunications or electronics manufacturing is a plus.
Work Environment & Requirements

Office and lab settings. Must lift 25 pounds occasionally, stand for extended periods, and be aware of electrical shock risks.
