Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Power BI Technical Lead to join its team in Toronto, Canada. The role requires strong hands-on Power BI expertise, Snowflake integration, data modeling, and modern data-integration patterns.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, collaborate with Finance and data teams, optimize performance, and guide the Power BI platform from design through production releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of lead design and development of scalable Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reporting solutions.
• 5+ years of Drive performance optimization across reports, DAX calculations, data models, and refresh processes.
• 5+ years of Design efficient data models integrating Power BI with Snowflake and other enterprise data sources. Troubleshoot reporting, performance, refresh, and upstream data-quality issues.
• 5+ years of Strong SQL and dimensional/data-modeling skills.Experience with enterprise-scale BI solutions, data quality, reconciliation, and production support.
• 5+ years of Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and technical leadership capabilities.
• Experience in Finance or Financial Services reporting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reporting solutions.
• Drive performance optimization across reports, DAX calculations, data models, and refresh processes.
• Design efficient data models integrating Power BI with Snowflake and other enterprise data sources. Troubleshoot reporting, performance, refresh, and upstream data-quality issues.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, code/design reviews, and development standards for the Power BI team.
• Partner with Finance, data engineering, and platform teams to translate business requirements into robust reporting solutions.
• Support production releases, incident/root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of the reporting platform.
