2025 SEASONAL ATTRACTION AND RETENTION PROGRAM

The Senior Pool Manager classification is eligible for the Recreation/Community Services Department's Seasonal Attraction and Retention Program. Incumbents working a minimum number of hours during the summer season may be eligible for an incentive payment up to $1,000!

Are you interested in spending your time outside at the pool? Make a splash by diving into an aquatics position with one of the fastest growing cities in the Inland Empire! Under general supervision of a Recreation & Community Services Coordinator, Senior Pool Managers oversee recreational work, supervise aquatic activities at Ontario's five swimming pool sites, and perform related duties.

This role is distinguished from the Pool Manager by its supervisory responsibilities at high school and community pools, interaction with school district personnel, and participation in aquatic program planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment in emergencies, and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.

The Senior Pool Manager is a part-time, temporary position in the City's year-round aquatics program, scheduled to work up to 29 hours per week. It is not eligible for the City's health insurance or retirement plans. Work schedules depend on availability, operating hours, and skill level.
