As a Senior Policy Advisor, Engagement, you'll be at the centre of high-profile engagement and consultation initiatives across the Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services, partnering with ministry leaders and program areas, to design and deliver innovative engagement with ministry partners, other government ministries, stakeholders, and Albertans, deliver actionable insights, and support critical policy and legislative priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Main scope of duties for the role include:

Develop Networks: Your ability to build and maintain relationships across the division and with other organizations will help you maintain broad awareness of still-in-development policy and promotes information sharing across the project.
Agility: Your awareness of ministry priorities, pressures and constraints in a dynamic project environment enables you effectively support management and senior management to respond to changes.
Creative Problem Solving: Your ability to ask the right questions to truly understand a problem enables you find new ways to improve results, ensuring smooth and efficient work and information sharing as required across the division.
University graduation in a related field (e.g: Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business, Communications, Journalism or other relevant field) plus four (4) years progressively responsible experience or equivalent as described below.
Equivalencies: Directly-related experience or education considered on the basis of: 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or 1 year of experience for 1 year of education
Preferences:
Term of Employment: Temporary (to August 31, 2027), Full-time position.
Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Location: Telus House at ATB Place South Tower, Edmonton, Alberta.
