Job summary

Mindtris is seeking a Project Manager, IM-related Level 2, onsite in Victoria for a 1-year contract to manage the infrastructure transition for payment processing services in government. The role requires senior-level expertise in project integration, risk management, stakeholder engagement and coordination with vendors, business and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of PM experience across knowledge areas: integration, scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement.
• Undergraduate degree or certification alternatives (CA/CMC/CMA/CGA/CFA) will be considered.
• PMP designation is preferred.
• Proficiency with project tech tools (e.g., MS Project).
• Provide examples of at least three projects of 8+ months with cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish project governance structure, resources and stakeholder engagement model.
• Establish project management team and project resources.
• Develop detailed project plan, timeline and milestones.
• Develop stakeholder communication plan for business teams, technical teams, 3rd party vendors and partners.
• Co-ordinate implementation with stakeholders.
• Risk identification, analysis and risk mitigation and management.
• Establish merchant account structures and revenue reporting configurations with financial system environments.
• Create new merchant numbers, location IDs and coding structures for the Corporate Financial System.
• Configure payment processing interfaces in financial management systems.
• Configure revenue and chargeback and retrieval reporting.
• Work with project leads and vendors to manage replacement of POS terminals across participating ministries.
• Work with the related project manager to integrate payment processing solutions within project timelines.
• Co-ordinate hardware and software transition with business and system requirements.
• Assist business and technical teams to plan and communicate the transition of government web applications to a new payment gateway.
• Co-ordinate with stakeholders to ensure third-party web applications are migrated.
• Manage application testing timelines, certification and cutover activities.
• Set up operational readiness and support capabilities for business users.
• Ensure timely set up of access to online systems.
• Establish training plan for users.
• Monitor retrieval and chargeback process.
• Ensure operational reporting and exception management processes are documented.
• Work with the relevant compliance team and incorporate requirements into project plan.
• Ensure all compliance requirements are in place and documented for the required audit.
