Job summary

System Soft Technologies is seeking a senior SRE to design and run a cloud-native developer platform. You will own reliability, build golden-path blueprints, and manage an internal portal (Backstage) while improving observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

You’ll work across AWS/Azure/GCP, drive IaC at scale, and partner with product teams to enable rapid, safe software delivery.

Qualifications

• Deep cloud-native expertise with Kubernetes and CNCF experience.
• Production experience on at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• SRE fundamentals: SLOs/SLIs, incident response, reliability, toil-reducing automation.
• Strong IaC (Terraform, Helm, GitOps) and enough software development to support developers.
• Built or run a developer portal (Backstage) and observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Daily fluent use of agentic coding tools to produce production-quality IaC.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate client’s cloud-native developer platform (Kubernetes + CNCF) on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Design golden-path blueprints for self-serve provisioning, CI/CD, deploy, and operations.
• Own the internal developer portal (Backstage) surface paths, services, and docs.
• Run the observability/monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana) for traceability.
• Own reliability as an SRE: SLOs, incident response, performance, and toil-reducing automation.
• Use agentic tools daily to produce production-quality IaC and advance deployment and operations.

This senior SRE-level role builds and runs that foundation — managed platforms, golden-path blueprints, and observability that let product pods ship fast and operate with confidence. You own reliability, with the software-development skill to support developers and design golden paths. Like our developers, you're all-in on AI — you believe a platform engineer gets production-quality IaC from agentic tools, and you want to lead the agentic deploy and operate stages of the SDLC.

Note: a platform / SRE role needing cloud-native depth and real software-development skill.

Responsibilities:

• Build and operate client's cloud-native developer platform (Kubernetes + CNCF) on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Design golden-path blueprints so product pods self-serve provisioning, CI/CD, deploy, and operations.
• Own the internal developer portal (e.g., Backstage) that surfaces paths, services, and docs.
• Run the observability/monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana) for the traceability to operate on-the-loop.
• Own reliability as an SRE: SLOs, incident response, performance, and toil-removing automation.
• Use agentic tools daily to produce production-quality IaC and push the agentic frontier in deploy and operate.

Qualifications:

• Deep cloud-native expertise: Kubernetes and hands-on experience across the CNCF landscape.
• Production experience on at least one hyperscaler — AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• SRE fundamentals: SLOs/SLIs, incident response, reliability, performance, and toil-reducing automation.
• Strong IaC (Terraform, Helm, GitOps) and enough software-development skill to support developers and design golden paths.
