Job summary

Kaseya is hiring a Senior Platform Backend Engineer to build and operate the services connecting workflow execution, identity, event routing, secrets management, and audit infrastructure across the Kaseya Intelligence Platform. This is a hands‑on backend role focused on Go or Rust, event‑driven architecture, multi‑tenant security, and production reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in production services.
• Experience building event-driven systems with Kafka or similar tech.
• Experience implementing authentication/authorization at scale.
• Experience with encryption or cloud KMS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate backend platform services for API access and event routing.
• Develop event-driven integrations converting PSA webhooks and platform events into durable workflows.
• Implement secrets management and KMS abstraction with cloud providers and BYOK models.
• Build auth services enforcing grants for customers and workflows.
• Own GitOps deployment pipelines for versioned workflows across environments.
• Develop onboarding automation for identity provisioning and key-management setup.
• Create secure connector services for third-party APIs with audit logging.
• Ensure production reliability via monitoring, tracing, and incident response.
