Job summary

Kaseya is seeking Platform Backend Engineers to build services powering the Intelligence Platform. You will work in Go or Rust on a platform used by multiple engineering teams and AI workloads, focusing on correctness, reliability, security, and operational clarity.

You will own end-to-end platform components, including identity, event routing, secrets management, and audit infrastructure, in a distributed, cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services in Go or Rust.
• Designing event-driven systems with Kafka or similar tech.
• Implementing authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC).
• Encrypting data with cloud KMS or envelope encryption.
• Operating multi-tenant production systems with logging and tracing.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate platform services for API access and event routing.
• Design event-driven workflows using Kafka and Temporal.
• Implement pluggable secrets management and KMS abstraction.
• Enforce capability grants for customers and workflows.
• Own GitOps deployment pipelines across customer environments.
• Develop onboarding automation for identity provisioning and KMS setup.
• Build secure connector services for third‑party APIs with audit logging.
• Improve observability, performance, and incident response.
