The City of Yellowknife is seeking a Senior Planner to guide urban planning and policy development within the Planning and Environment Division. You will lead complex projects and provide strategic input to shape Yellowknife’s urban landscape.
The role requires a university degree in urban and regional planning with at least six years’ experience in municipal planning, plus CIP and APPI memberships. Strong ArcGIS/AutoCAD skills are essential, and collaboration across teams is expected.

The City of Yellowknife offers a starting salary of $115,231, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including monthly housing and vacation travel allowances totaling $450, and a defined benefit pension plan.
