Job summary

The Rehab Grid Physiotherapy and Sports Performance in Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to provide advanced assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for orthopedic, sports, and post-surgical patients.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario or eligible to register.
• Strong clinical skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy including assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation planning.
• Experience with patient-centered care, including individualized treatment planning and outcome measurement.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Senior Physiotherapist will provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to a diverse caseload, including orthopedic, sports, and post-surgical patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed patient evaluations, developing evidence-based treatment plans, delivering manual therapy and exercise-based interventions, and monitoring patient progress. The role also involves mentoring junior clinicians, collaborating with other healthcare and fitness professionals, and contributing to clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives. The Senior Physiotherapist will educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and long-term health optimization. This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Rehab Grid Physiotherapy and Sports Performance in Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON.

Qualifications

• Current registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (or eligibility to register), with a recognized degree in Physiotherapy.
• Strong clinical skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, including assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and rehabilitation planning.
• Experience with patient-centered care, including individualized treatment planning, outcome measurement, and evidence-based practice.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior staff, students, or new graduates, and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, motivate patients, and provide clear education on conditions and treatment plans.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, including accurate documentation, caseload management, and adherence to professional standards and clinic policies.
• Experience in sports performance, return-to-play planning, or working with athletic populations is an asset.
• CPR/First Aid certification and ongoing commitment to professional development through courses, workshops, or specialty certifications.
