Job summary

WSP's Physical Security Team in Canada invites an experienced security consultant to shape infrastructure security across government, transportation, institutional, and commercial sectors. You will lead multidisciplinary delivery and provide strategic security consulting.

Reporting to National Physical Security Director, you will oversee TRAs, CPTED and vulnerability assessments, mentor the team, support client relationships, and contribute to proposals while upholding health and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a security consulting environment.
• Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary security projects.
• Expertise conducting Threat Risk Assessments or similar security risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of physical security design and security technologies.
• Experience preparing technical reports, security strategies, and client presentations.
• Understanding of project financial management, contracts, and delivery practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership to grow the team.

Join WSP's Physical Security Team and help shape the security and resilience of some of Canada's most significant infrastructure projects. Working alongside industry-leading specialists, you'll provide strategic security consulting services, lead multidisciplinary project delivery, and support clients across government, transportation, institutional, and commercial sectors.

Reporting to the National Physical Security Director, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative security solutions that protect critical assets, support community safety, and advance infrastructure development across Canada.

Your Impact

• Lead the delivery of physical security consulting services on complex infrastructure projects across Canada.
• Oversee security assessments, design reviews, and security planning initiatives for new and existing facilities.
• Manage and mentor members of the physical security team while fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Direct Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs), CPTED assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security program development.
• Support testing, commissioning, emergency management, and site security initiatives throughout project lifecycles.
• Build and strengthen client relationships while contributing to business development and proposal pursuits.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Champion WSP's health, safety, and wellbeing culture while ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and Life Saving Rules.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 – $195,400

MB & ON: $134,600 – $184,600

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $133,200 – $176,900
