Job summary

Join WSP's Physical Security Team and help shape the security and resilience of some of Canada's most significant infrastructure projects. Working alongside industry-leading specialists, you'll provide strategic security consulting services, lead multidisciplinary project delivery, and support clients across government, transportation, institutional, and commercial sectors.

Reporting to the National Physical Security Director, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative security solutions that protect critical assets, support community safety, and advance infrastructure development across Canada.

Your Impact

• Lead the delivery of physical security consulting services on complex infrastructure projects across Canada.
• Oversee security assessments, design reviews, and security planning initiatives for new and existing facilities.
• Manage and mentor members of the physical security team while fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Direct Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs), CPTED assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security program development.
• Support testing, commissioning, emergency management, and site security initiatives throughout project lifecycles.
• Build and strengthen client relationships while contributing to business development and proposal pursuits.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Champion WSP's health, safety, and wellbeing culture while ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and Life Saving Rules.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a security consulting environment.
• Proven experience managing large, multidiscipline security projects.
• Demonstrated expertise conducting Threat Risk Assessments or comparable security risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of physical security design, security technologies, and protective security principles.
• Experience preparing technical reports, security strategies, and client presentations.
• Knowledge of project financial management, contracts, commercial terms, and project delivery practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to support team growth and development.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 – $195,400
MB & ON: $134,600 – $184,600
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $133,200 – $176,900
