Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is seeking a Site Senior Supply Planner in Brampton, Canada, to develop and execute supply plans for finished goods and APIs, ensuring optimal inventory, capacity utilization and uninterrupted supply. The role requires 7–10+ years in supply planning with pharma experience, strong SAP and Kinaxis skills, advanced Excel, and APICS/ASCM certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field is required.
• 7-10+ years in supply planning, production planning, inventory or materials planning in manufacturing; pharma preferred.
• Strong experience with SAP and advanced planning tools (Kinaxis preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and analytics tools.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Project leadership and change management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to unplanned situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and medium-term supply plans for Finished Goods and affiliate-sourced APIs.
• Own and govern the Master Production Schedule, balancing demand, inventory, and capacity.
• Drive inventory optimization with safety stock policies and targets.
• Ensure timely material availability by generating and managing PRs for packaging and raw materials.
• Provide strategic planning recommendations to senior leadership on scenarios and risks.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Affiliate Supply Chain teams.
• Monitor KPIs: Demand vs Commit vs Supply, Inventory, Backorders, Capacity Utilization.
• Develop reporting and insights using SAP, Kinaxis, Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Serve as SME for planning systems, provide training and support to analysts and stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement in planning, inventory management and supply chain processes.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and process standardization initiatives.
