Personal Injury Law Clerk

Salary Based Upon Experience

Responsibilities:
  1. Draft, prepare, and complete all necessary litigation documentation such as claims, defenses, motion records, pleadings, notices, affidavits, etc., in Superior Court, Small Claims Court, and Court of Appeal.
  2. Schedule mediations, examinations, motions, pre-trials, trial dates, and other scheduling tasks.
  3. Familiarity with Online Submissions Portal and Caselines.
  4. Be aware of processes and deadlines for serving and filing court documents.
  5. Ensure all filings are organized and up to date daily, both physically and electronically.
  6. Handle administrative details related to calendar and task management, client meetings, accounting, file closing, and docketing.
  7. Perform other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe DC Pro, and PCLaw.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and flexibility to meet work demands.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
  • Good judgment and professionalism, especially under pressure.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
