We’re seeking a Senior People Business Partner to join our North America People and Culture team in Montreal. You will be the main contact for all people-related projects, partnering with colleagues, key stakeholders, and leaders to deliver a strategic people plan aligned with our teams' needs and priorities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing strategic leadership to leaders, stakeholders, and the People & Culture team to meet the needs of our growing teams;
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and coaching leadership to enhance their effectiveness;
  • Being the first contact in People & Culture for employee relations issues;
  • Driving proactive conversations around People data with business leaders;
  • Partnering on employee initiatives such as Career Development, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Compensation, etc.;
  • Leading special projects as required;
  • Collaborating with functional leaders on organizational design activities like succession planning and workforce planning.

What you need to bring:

We are a team of 30 people in North America. This role supports our most valuable asset: our people! We’re looking for candidates with:

  • At least 8 years of experience in HR Generalist and People Business Partner roles;
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field;
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English;
  • Proven coaching, influencing skills, and credibility with leaders;
  • Knowledge of Canadian labour laws;
  • Experience with Employee Relations and employment legislation in Canada and the US;
  • An interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and employee engagement;
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and rapport with diverse personalities and leadership teams.
