Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pega Developer with a strong technical background and Pega CSSA certification (or higher). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Pega applications, integrating with external systems, and working in Agile/DevOps environments. You will be responsible for end-to-end development, platform upgrades, integration, and ensuring application performance and quality standards are met.


Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and support high-quality Pega applications.

  • Ensure alignment with Pega best practices and CSSA concepts.

  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, performance guidelines, and corporate policies.

  • Implement and manage integrations such as REST, SOAP, File Listeners, MQ, and Error Handling.

  • Work on Pega platform upgrades and patches.

  • Utilize DevOps tools and practices including Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Monitor application logs (e.g., alert logs) and proactively address system issues.

  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Document technical solutions and create reusable components.

  • Leverage knowledge of Pega Constellation and Pega Cloud, where applicable.


Required qualifications


  • A relevant Bachelor\'s degree (Computer Science, Information Science or Business Administration)

  • Pega CSSA certification or higher

  • 5+ years’ experience in developing PEGA applications

  • Deeper understanding on all Pega CSSA concepts

  • Knowledge of upgrading Pega platforms

  • Basics e.g. Linux, SQL, Jenkins, Rest/SOAP API, MQ, Azure

  • Exposure to web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.)

  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including reviewing alert logs.

  • Experience in implementing integrations such as REST, SOAP, File Listener, MQ and Error Handling.

  • Exposure on Pega Constellation, Pega Cloud is an advantage.

  • Experience with Agile and/or Scrum software development

  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery principles

  • Knowledge and experience as a DevOps team member


Preferred qualifications


  • Exposure to Pega Constellation and Pega Cloud.

  • Understanding of Continuous Delivery (CD) principles.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Knowledge and experience as a DevOps team member.
