Job description

Job Title: Senior Payroll Accountant

Join a solid team within a growing yet stable company. This position will focus on handling all accounting behind payroll rather than processing payroll itself. The role requires in-office presence two days a week in Brentwood. Experience with Workday is highly preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Review and prepare transactions for entry, post approved entries, collect and evaluate data, conduct analysis, and prepare reports.
2. Extract and analyze payroll data for reporting and reconciliation purposes.
3. Collaborate directly with the Payroll team as needed.
4. Prepare detailed general ledger account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and report inconsistencies.
5. Support internal and external audits.
6. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee payroll, benefits, and incentive compensation data.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency in payroll accounting.
