Qualifications

Ebenezer Baptist Church is searching for a Senior Pastor who is an experienced preacher, teacher, leader, and shepherd who is able to minister to the congregational family of our Church in various capacities. We desire a leader who can clearly communicate and execute our mission, which is winning and building life-long followers of Christ, and who is committed to be a person who motivates and trains ministry leaders and volunteers, models the application of God's Word to one's personal life, and lives an exemplary life based on clear biblical principles.

Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a Master of Divinity or equivalent degree from an evangelical seminary and lead pastoral experience. We desire a leader who will work collaboratively with church leadership and volunteers to clearly communicate and execute our mission, which is winning and building life-long followers of Christ. Our pastor should demonstrate a strong ability to relate to people of all ages and cultures and to be fully committed to the North American Baptist Conference Statement of Beliefs. Your pastoral gifting and experience enable you to encourage, inspire, and empower God's people to use their gifts and talents, and you model and practice the healthy, self-confident, humble servant's heart of our Lord.
