Job summary

A leading technology firm in Canada is seeking an Organizational Change Manager to lead and coordinate change efforts related to technology adoption and training. Responsibilities include building relationships with stakeholders, creating training materials, and delivering training programs through various modalities. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in change management and training, with relevant certifications. Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience as an Organizational Change Manager on a complex software project.
  • Experience facilitating change/training in CRM, case management, ERP, or financial systems on at least 1 project.
  • Completion of mandatory training (FOIP Act, Security Awareness, etc.).

Job description

Job Description : Responsibilities :

  • Lead and coordinate change efforts to support staff transitioning to a new system while minimizing disruption and ensuring adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels and develop change and training strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create and manage communication plans, engagement activities, and training deliverables.
  • Tailor communications for different stakeholder groups and act as liaison between business units and project teams.
  • Lead training needs assessments and deliver training programs using various modalities (in-person, virtual, self-paced).
  • Develop user-friendly training materials including manuals, guides, eLearning, and video tutorials.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, user adoption, and collect feedback to refine strategies.
  • Conduct change impact analysis and manage feedback, tracking KPIs and success metrics.
  • Provide post-implementation support including ongoing training, updated resources, and help desk materials.

Equipment Requirements :

  • Must provide own computer and equipment.
  • Compatible operating system for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD); Windows preferred.
  • Security And Training Requirements :

  • Criminal record check required prior to Enhanced Security Clearance.
  • Completion of mandatory training (FOIP Act, Security Awareness, etc.).
  • Must Have :

  • 5 years’ experience leading training activities for complex technology / software systems.
  • 1 year experience as an Organizational Change Manager on a complex software project.
  • 5 years’ experience delivering training via in-person and web-based platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
  • 5 years’ experience developing change management deliverables (e.g., Readiness Assessments, Change Impact Analysis).
  • 5 years’ experience developing stakeholder communication materials.
  • 5 years’ experience developing training strategies and needs analyses.
  • 5 years’ experience developing training materials for diverse delivery methods.
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci) with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience facilitating change / training in CRM, case management, ERP, banking, accounting, or financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Finance) on at least 1 project.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Trainer or Adult Learning certification or related degree / diploma with 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience as Organizational Change Manager on a project affecting 100+ staff in a public sector or large organization (1 year).
  • Experience as Trainer on a project affecting 100+ staff in a public sector or large organization (1 year).
  • 5 years’ experience defining and measuring change success metrics.
  • 5 years’ experience developing and presenting communications to various organizational levels.
  • 5 years’ experience developing communication plans, strategies, and schedules.
  • 5 years’ experience creating learning outcomes and evaluating training effectiveness.
  • 5 years’ experience fostering relationships with leadership and stakeholders.
  • 5 years’ experience in change risk management.
  • 5 years’ experience leading stakeholder meetings.
  • 1 year experience using MS Office 2016 or later.
  • 1 year experience in public sector environment.
  • Experience using SharePoint 2016 or higher.
