Job description

As a senior Oracle EPM advisor, you’re actively involved in developing a modern, large-scale business solution and the processes it supports. You play a key role in ensuring the solution meets the needs of accounting, finance and management information. You develop, maintain and leverage world-class expertise in the use of modern Oracle financial tools and industry best practices. The position consists mainly in working as a business functional analyst for our modern Enterprise Performance Management (Cloud EPM) solution for the property and casualty insurance sector. You’ll be called upon to support and update the Profitability and Cost Management Cloud (PCMCS) applications for financial allocations and Planning and Budgeting Cloud (ePBCS) applications for the budget process. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • As a specialist, help ensure the feasibility, design and implementation of innovative solutions through supported products (reports, business rules, data sharing)

  • Cocreate with our business partners to identify needs and priorities and manage the order backlog

  • Advise and guide the development team and product owner by recommending different functional alternatives aligned with the architecture

  • Help define and guide scopes (stories, releases, sprints, projects, tests)

  • Work with the team to develop functional testing strategies

  • Define, guide and oversee the execution of automated and/or manual tests within your scope (specific cases/exceptions), with a focus on the end-to-end process

  • Take responsibility for implementing and managing incidents/problems within your scope

  • Produce and update required documentation

  • Ensure data security for supported products

  • Monitor development technologies and practices, and serve as a mentor for the team in terms of technology and methods

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience in finance processes, particularly in performance management, is considered relevant (product expertise can be developed on the job)

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

  • Knowledge of accounting

  • Knowledge of Oracle financial products (PCMCS, ePBCS, Hyperion, EBS/ERP Cloud)
