Team 1 – The activities associated with this Team are global markets settlement operation, which entails repairing instructions with wrong data or format, following settlement process with custodian local agent, resolving breaks reported from counterparts and local agent..

Team 2 – The activities associated with this Team are all Corporate Action workflows initiated for Americas region (North and South), on the following topics : Election, announcement and payment processes.

Must have skills :

• Ideally 2+ years of financial services experience within [Back-office operation / settlement / Global markets, etc.]
• Securities knowledge (Could be from CSC and or banking industry experience)
• Knowledge of SWIFT messages type (especially 54X for settlement)
• French skill is a plus

Role Responsibilities :

Custody : Settlement

• Chase broker / client on issues / discrepancies spotted on transactions
• Take in charge analysis and investigation on existing pending or breaks on all markets with extensive knowledge of US / CA / LATAM specificities
• Manage incoming chasing or queries from counterparts and clients
• Release instructions on market by respecting treasury cut off
• Mitigate risk, put in place partial instructions and place recalls whenever necessary and take corrective action as per internal procedure
• Train junior staff on best practices and procedures related to settlement activities
• Act as a contact reference for technical request and production issue
• Contribute to some project, testing, and process efficiency or optimization on existing workflows
