Position : Operations Manager I

Shift : 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm, Monday-Friday

Pay : $97,000 per year

Additional Incentives : Eligible for bonus plan

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will possess skills and experience such as operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck for at least 6 months.

As a Senior Operations Manager at DHL Supply Chain, you will ensure smooth warehouse operations, lead process improvements, and foster a safe, productive environment. Your leadership will drive DHL’s reputation as a global leader in contract logistics.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, promoting inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement workflows, labor plans, and standard processes to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a safety culture.
• Prepare reports on KPIs like productivity and accuracy to inform decisions and continuous improvement.
• Encourage open communication among leadership and staff to promote transparency and teamwork.
• Partner with HR and leadership for hiring Supervisors, supporting talent acquisition.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Engage with customers proactively to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
• Over 2 years in supervisory or management roles.
• Experience with P&L management, goal setting, and project management is a plus.
